My name is Laura. I am a textile designer and illustrator based in South East London. I combine a love of colour and pattern to create happy, uplifting designs to bring people joy. I am inspired by nature, travel, food and enjoying the simple pleasures in life: dog walks, sharing dinners with friends, farmers markets, a sunny spritz, the smell of tomatoes on the vine and warm evenings eating alfresco.
I mix hand drawing and painting with digital techniques to create unique illustrations and patterns. My colour palette is bright, bold and warm, inspired by trips to India, Morocco and Mexico. My hand drawn, dopamine filled designs have been featured in The guardian, Country Living, Gardens Illustrated and BBC’s Good food.
